Grilled Tuna-Cheddar Sandwich


Ingredients:

  • 1 (6 ½ oz.) can tuna packed in water, drained
  • ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons (1 ½ oz.) shredded - 40% less for Cheddar cheese
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 tbsps plain nonfat yogurt
  • 2 tsps diced pimento
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • Vegetable cooking spray

Instructions:
  1. Combine tuna and next 7 ingredients, stir well.
  2. Spread tuna mixture evenly over 2 slices of bread
  3. Top with remaining bread slices
  4. Transfer sandwiches to a sandwich press or hot griddle that has been coated with cooking spray
  5. Cook until bread is lightly browned and cheese is slightly melted

Yield: 2 servings (292 calories per serving)
